We have just announced that so far we have raised over £38,000 for Tearfund
- very exciting news!
15th December
We have now finished our run of 7 concerts at the Spa Pavilion theatre in
Felixstowe - thank you to all who helped and came to the concerts.
A few (approximate) vital statistics from the concerts:
4000 people attended the concerts
1100 children on stage
38 musicians playing and singing
22 dancers
20 technical bods running sound, lights & video
100 people stewarding, chaperoning and selling the CDs and DVDs Front of House
25 people helping with get-in and get-out sessions

Don't for get that CDs and DVDs are still available, both from
local outlets and by mail order
The Concert ticket sales have covered the project costs, so every penny from CD
and DVD sales will go to Tearfund
9th December
We have now had the first two nights of concerts - a massive thank you to
all who have taken part and those who have come and watched !
The DVD is now also released. It is on sale at the concerts and today stock is
rolling out to the shops
There are still some tickets available for each evening
19th November
The One Christmas CD is now released ! They will be in all the shops
by this weekend, 22nd November
The DVD is now at manufacture, and will be available from the first night of the
concerts on the 7th December
Concert tickets are now on sale and selling well - look on the
concerts page for details

We have had a really hectic month of mixing and editing - but
is is now all complete !
We are now finalising concert plans and lots of rehearsals are well underway in
preparation for the 7 nights at the Spa Pavilion
20th October 2008
The children's recording & filming sessions are all complete- we have
recorded and filmed almost 1800 children over the last 3 weeks over 7 sessions
The mixing of the CD starts now, followed by the editing of the DVD

1st September
The new term is about to start, and some 42 schools across Suffolk are going
to be starting to learn the One Christmas songs.
Within the next 2 weeks, there will be an assembly in each of the schools
involved, to let the children know more about the project

Over the summer we have been continuing the studio recording and some of the
filming, getting ready for the exciting term ahead!
20th June - filming at NNR
As part of the schools promo video and the DVD, we spent an energetic day at
the North Norfolk Railway with 4 youngsters and our own train guard !
22nd April: core vocal recording almost complete
27 girls (aged between thirteen and forty-something !) have committed a
collective 400 hours of time
recording the core vocals over the last 4 weeks. Around 14 girls have been at
each of the 9 recording sessions, working through each song accurately recording
the melody and multiple harmony parts, each layered 4 times
This studio recording compliments the mass children's choirs recorded later in
the year (October)
Approximately 200 tracks of audio have been recorded just for core vocal parts
on 15 of the 20 songs on the album
28th February: Recording started at the Wendy House Studios,
Felixstowe
Legendary ex-Felixstowe session bass player Carl Stanbridge returns to join
local drummer Josh
to lay down the rhythm section for the album
25th January: Dance workshop in Felixstowe
Some months earlier - Andrew (right) ' I have an idea about a new
project.....'; Roger (left) 'oh no...'
